InBodied Yoga

Do you feel at home in your body?

Yoga therapy is for anyone who struggles with embodiment and would like a more peaceful, intuitive relationship with movement. This includes the experiences of chronic stress and overwhelm, body image suffering, anxiety, and trauma.

InBodied Yoga sessions begins with an assessment of your physical and emotional state, followed by a customized sequence of mindful movement, yoga asana, breath work, therapeutic exercises, guided visualizations. All sessions incorporate verbal process.

Process

I offer all of my clients an initial 20-minute telephone consultation free of charge. During that call, we can briefly discuss fees, scheduling, your goals, my approach, and any questions that you might have.

If you would like to proceed, we will schedule a 60-minute consultation session together. All of your intake paperwork can be completed online via my client portal. It’s best that you complete all intake paperwork before the session so that we can make good use of our time together.

Adjunctive Treatment

I enjoy offering time-limited yoga therapy as an adjunct to longer-term treatment and welcome collaboration with other psychotherapists and clinicians. This is often most appropriate for folks in eating disorder recovery who are on or coming off of exercise restriction and would benefit from trauma-informed, pro-recovery movement experience.
