Yoga for Better Body Image
Body dissatisfaction is rampant in our culture - and, not just for women. Research suggests that anywhere from 40-70% of the American population experiences negative body image. It also indicates that yoga can help! By supporting practitioners in the development of critical coping skills, yoga facilitates the integration of body and mind, improving mood, self-image, and overall well-being.
Developed and facilitated by therapeutic yoga teacher and eating disorder clinician, Lauren Minear, RYT, LCSW, this workshop is a unique opportunity to work on your relationship with your body using yoga postures, breathwork, and group discussion.
